Chailynsm

Name: Chailyn Zayn
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Hair: long dark brown
Eyes: brown with gold flecks
Species: Human
Height: 5'8
Weight: 120

Marital Status: Single
Physical Description: Chailyn is fairly exotic-looking, though mostly of Caucasian roots. The play-off between her long dark hair and fair complexion along with the gold flecks in her brown eyes might be the reason- or maybe her intense personality shows right through. She has medium sized, burning bronze eyes under straight, dark eyebrows, a straight, almost delicate nose, small pale lips, and a strong jawline. She is slim, but fairly muscular, though most times it doesn't show much.

Personality: Chailyn is very intense, apt to change moods on the fly at the slightest thing. She's not extremely sociable, but definately not shy. Known to have trouble making friends, she often seems not to care at all what others think of her as long as she's respected and most important, needed. She tends to challenge authority at every turn, unless definatively shown that those in charge 'are the bigger, alpha dogs.' Otherwise, tends to be uncontrollable unless manipulated, but when she finds out about being manipulated, she's apt to fly off the handle.

Story:   Chailyn, age 18, is older and smarter than she looks. With an IQ of 180+, she is a genius, and she knows it. Just like Beethoven could hear all the parts of a symphony he was creating in his head even before the first notes were played, so Chailyn can see what needs to be done when she's inventing something. She is far ahead of her own time, but missing bits and pieces of information in more advanced realms than her own. Added to that, she is the daughter of technomages, raised in the Women's tower, and of noble blood, used to consorting with kings and queens as well as the lowest begger. She is an extremely diverse individual, and would be as sweet and lovely in spirit as she is strong in mind, except for her history.

Chailyn Alyssa-Emory Zayn was born the younger twin of two technomages. Her older sister-twin, Riona, was very close to her, and they looked so much alike that many thought they were identical twins. However, when the twins were still young, tragedy struck the family of four. The Madness fell upon Chailyn and Riona's parents, and they killed each other, while their two daughter stood watching in horror. The two twins were taken in by their aunt, and raised in the Women's tower. The horror of her parents' death never fully left Chailyn, though, and she became exceedingly mischevious and troublesome. The only person she let close to her, and the only person who could control her and make her behave, was Riona. Chailyn grew to be lovely and talented, but smart-mouthed, rudely-polite (or politely-rude), and appearing arrogant and exceedingly sure of herself. She became an angry young lady, apt to lash out at the slightest provocation, and not allowing herself to feel. With her sister, however, she was spirited and carefree, neither arrogant nor shy, but outgoing and optimistic.
Separated from her twin by a freak accident that sucked Chailyn to another realm, she seeks to be reunified with her twin. Deathly afraid to love, the memory of her parent's deaths have become twisted in her mind to mean than a man's love for her would kill her. Stamping down on her feelings with angry intensity, hiding behind a face of rude arrogance and a cocky attitude. Beneath that outer shell, however, lurks the real Chailyn, now childishly afraid and unsure of herself. One thing that brings her alive, however, is music. Chailyn is a dancer at heart, and dancing at the Tower was forbidden to her. Now, free of the Tower, she can dance freely, and she makes a spectacular show of it.

If you put your arms around me,
Could it change the way I feel.
I guess I let myself believe that the outside
Might just bleed it's way in
Maybe stir the sleeping past lying under glass.
Waiting for the kiss to break this awful spell.
Pull me out of this lonely hell.

Close my eyes and hold my heart.
Cover me and make me something.
Change this something normal
Into something beautiful

What I get from my reflection
Isn't what I thought I'd see.
Give me reason to believe
You'd never leave me incomplete.
Will you untie this loss of mine,
It so easily defines me.
Do you see it on my face.
That all I can think about is how long I've
been waiting to feel you move me.

Close my eyes and hold my heart.
Cover me and make me normal.
Change this something normal
Into something beautiful.
