Playing
the Game
Riders
Note: This is a free game- none of this money is
real.
1. All riders start
out with $20,000, regardless of the number of horses they own. To get
more money, you must get a job. Jobs are avaliable at stores and
stables. Look on the Members page for job listings. It will cost you
$5,000 dollars to create a horse. You may buy a horse- check with the
seller for the price of the horse you're interested in.
2. You need to keep track of your own money. If you
loose track,
e-mail me, and I'll deduct a $100 fine from your account and give you
the updated balance. If you run out of money and cannot pay
your
boarding fees, etc, you may take out a loan from Q's Stables. You may
also post a message on the Classifieds and try to sell a horse.
3. For Equine Heaven Stables, the boarding rates run
at $300
a month or $3,000 a year, for up to two equines. For each horse after
that, there is a
$200 additional charge per month, or $2,000 a year.
4. To pay the stable/barn owner (fees may
vary from barn to barn) you need to write a (fake) check. After you
write the check, go to the Bank and deduct the appropriate amount from
your balance. The format
for these checks is such.
Use the appropriate user names for 'to:' and 'from:'.

Stable/Shop Owners!
5. If you open your
own stable, a link must be clearly shown on the front page of the site,
associating it with Q's Stables,
and you must give me the address of the site, so I can list it on this
site. If you want to open a stable, but cannot find a place to do so
for any reason,
e-mail me and I
will be glad to work with you to figure out a way.
6. Every stable or shop owner will have to pay a fee
to Q's Stables consisting of somewhere around $500 per month plus a
$3,000 start-up fee. This is because
most of the revenue you get should come from your boarders- its up to
you to keep your stable/shop up and running. And if you run into
trouble,
don't hesitate to contact me.
7. Stable and shop owners- when listing prices for
your items (boarding rates, the price of bridle/saddle, etc) look at
the rates for Equine Heaven Stables and use them as a basis. The costs
don't have to be exactly the same, but they should be fairly close.
Remember- you have to keep your stable up and running!
8. Stable owners must buy supplies from either
Equine Heaven Stables or a Shop owner. They may also charge fees for
their riders at their own discretion, but major complaints against the
stable may result in a fine or loss of the stable. Shop owners must buy
supplies either from Equine Heaven Stables or another shop owner.
9. Stables may hold shows, with entry fees and
prizes at their discretion. All shows must be passed by me first, and
there may only be one show per week. For each show, there is a $500 fee.
