The Rinaran year is flexible on the orbit of their world around their sun. It doesn't shift too much, and all they use to keep track of time are the measurements of years (summers), months (moons), and days. Any length of time shorter than 'days' goes by the sun's position. Any length of time longer than year is such as 'tens of years', and 'hundreds of years'. Sometimes they use 'centuries' and 'millenia', as we do.
The Rinaryns have no machinery to keep track of time. Therefore, they go by the changing seasons, mostly. With a change of weather patterns, or a change in season, the month changes. Otherwise, they go by the cycles of the moon- thus, the word 'moon' added to the end of each of their months.
Months
Rinaran
months are named after trees, with -moon at the end, as afore mentioned.
A list of the months is below, and
the approximate equivalent.
