The Darks are not exactly a race, but they are a group. They are led by what the Rinaryns call the Shoton Serkan, meaning evil shadow. The name describes him well- he is a being of utter evil, and as slippery as a shadow. The Rinaryns believe that only one can really stop him- Elohim. The Shoton Serkan is above all evil, and all evil comes from him. All evil beings serve him, even if they don't know it. He and all the Darks hate the Rinaryns, as they stand between the Darks and the other races.

    Not many have actually seen the Shoton Serkan, and those who have are probably Darks. He stays behind the lines, directing his forces, protecting himself, not caring much if one of his Darks gets killed. He cares much less about those not Darks. He would much rather hurt or kill or at least have an affect on others than serve his eventual punishment alone.

    Of course, Dark influence has passed the Rinaryns, but they still fight the Darks. The Darks can look like a normal person of their race. One of the most powerful Darks would be an Rinaryn Dark. All Darks can get into and have influence another's head and thinking. An Rinaryn Dark, having already had the power to do this before they joined, is much more dangerous than others in this area. Rinaryns view Rinaryn Darks with a mixture of disgust, sorrow, and pity. Darks are disloyal, unkind, unmerciful, jealous, haughty, all in all, the worst aspects you could think of. Do not excepect help from another Dark, even if you are one. Earsa helps the Rinaryns fight the Darks.

    Tkatae is the only known Rinaryn Dark. He is not very dangerous at times, because he has a sort of one track mind at times. He has a deep hatred for Quamada, but he is smart. He attacked and was defeated twice.
