Rinara

    Rinara is a mystical land of rivers, streams, mountains, and hills. It is a land of beautiful mists that hug the land, a land of waterfalls, and caves, and forests, stretching across the length of it. Rinara is a land of plains meeting forests and going on to meet mesas, which meet mountains. Of clean, sandy beaches, and lords, and kings, and hunters. Rinara is a land of peace amid the turmoil of the world of Terra.
     Let not the peace and beauty of the land fool thee, oh mischievous mind. Rinara hast elven archers, and warriors, who will fight to the death for their land. However, Rinara is also well protected naturally, so it would be perilous to get there, unless thou hast an Rinaryn alongside, to guide thee. The Rinaryns themselves are a beautiful and mysterious people, though the Rinaran fae people are fairer and still more mysterious.
    Rinara is a smallish continent surrounded by water. Currents continually flow away from the land, pushing any ships that try to approach off-course with increasing intensity. Rinara has a couple of harbors, and many streams, lakes, rivers, etc. Away from the coast, you may see a range of mountains- the Holy Mountains, home to the Angels. The Holy Mountains are equipped with a natural defense. Gusty winds whistle around the rock faces and through canyons and gorges of the places, creating turbulence which would bring down most aircraft of any kind. Only if the aircraft is above the atmosphere may it escape the turbulence wholey. Also, only one who has lived in Rinara for many, many years can tell when there may be rock slides, or mudslides, or the like. So, unless invited by an Rinaryn, it is hazardous to come here, as I said before. Even if you do make it in, some of our warriors are "trigger happy".
     Rinara as a realm is surrounded by some sort of barrier, restricting travel in and out of the realm. If you happen to get into the realm, you will probably land somewhere else on Terra- not on the island of Rinara. Additionally, Rinara itself has some sort of field around it. Magic won't work in Rinara, and neither will electronics, which is why tages and mages shun the land and don't go there- all but Earsa.

    Rinara the island is divided into parts, though the boundaries of these parts are vague. These are:

Spiritdune, to the South and East, boardering a coast;
Heartwood, to the North and East, boardering a coast and containing Cair Siursiy;
Mountainhold, between Spiritdune and Heartwood, boardering a coast, containing the Holy Mountains, home to the Angels and the Kamalti;
Stonewood, to the North and West, boardering a coast;
Stoneridge, to the South and West, boardering a coast;
and Life Valley, in the center of the land, boardering no coast, but containing the Tsunath Ountán, from which flows the lí rires and the lí treamres.
    In Rinara, lie 57 Rinaryn villages scattered across it. No village lies in Mountainhold, and indeed, Rinaryns come there rarely. Only for the Journeying and the Trek, after the Feasts of Starfall, do they go up to the Holy Mountains, and then they stick to the paths of old, and go in reverance of the Kamalti, for that is their land.
